Everyone knows about LOOK clipless pedals, but this French brand has been building a reputation for quality road bikes as well. LOOK supplied carbon frames to the likes of Greg LeMond and built the first monocoque carbon frame used on a track.  We’re very happy to be stocking these innovative road bikes at Cycle Right.  Look out for the 765, 695 ZR (pictured above) and 795 Light models in the store.

A proud history in cycle racing

LOOK’s relationship with cycling goes back to Bernard Hinault, The Badger used the new clipless pedal system to win the 1985 Tour de France.  Greg LeMond won the next year riding a LOOK carbon frame road bike. In 1998 Luc LeBlanc won the world championships riding the KG171 frame. In 2002 Laurent Jalabert wins the polka dot jersey at The Tour riding the KG381i frame. Thor Hushovd wins the Tour of Spain points jersey in 2006 on the new 595.

Cycle Right stocks a wide range of LOOK bikes for you to view and test ride.

We offer both disc and caliper options and would love the opportunity to discuss your dream build.

795 Light

An ultralight aero road bike built for speed. The culmination of 10 years of work on aerodynamics by LOOK engineers. The integrated components mean every detail has been thought out to give the bike the maximum performance.

695 ZR

A performance bike that offers “all round” capabilities.  Take the 695 racing or use it for your everyday training.  Our very own Laurent Audibert took our test 695 out for a trial and he had the following to say:

  • The inside of the seat tube bears the mention “Fabriqué à la main” (handmade): small proud reminder that this isn’t an ordinary bike, a lot of French savoir faire contributes to its design.
  • The bike I tested was equipped with Edco Umbrial 45mm carbon wheels and what a tremendous set of wheels these are.
  • The secret of this bike’s comfort is the elastomer logged at the top of its integrated seat tube: it dampers roads imperfection for your upper body but doesn’t compromise the power

LOOK’s endurance line uses CARBOFLAX technology (combining flax with carbon fiber) that makes the bike lighter and extremely comfortable.  The vibration dampening on offer improves comfort, while maintaining the frame’s strength and resilience.  The 765 offers a shorter top tube and raised cockpit, perfect for longer rides and endurance events.

In their review of the 2016 model, cyclingweekly.co.uk said (rated 8/10):

  • Look is targeting the sportive market with its new 765, a bike with endurance geometry and comfort features built into the frame.
  • The 765 has the higher riding position designed to make longer rides more comfortable, but without sacrificing the performance for which Look’s bikes are known.

bikeradar.com reviewed the 765 in 2016 as well (rated 4/5):

  • The ride quality is a little like that of high-end steel. It’s remarkably smooth, shrugging off potholes with suitably French disdain.
